Our little guest…

We finally have a foster placement! Governments move to action so quickly! A mere 15 months after our training the state of Alabama has finally decided to use the training (they paid for) and send us a (temporary) placement. This is Layla. She is 10 months old. We don’t know how long she will be with us but she is fitting in just fine. We’ll keep you posted. -The Marchios

  1. What a cutie! She looks quite content and peaceful.A quick update here: Erich is in Boot Camp and we heard from him the 90second phone call that allows him to give his address, say he loves us and hang up. We look forward to our firstletter from him.On a sad note, my husband Rob and his family need your prayers. Rob’s sister, Marcia, has been battling breast cancer for four years and this week discovered the cancer has moved to her lungs. She has been given a grim prognosis – 2 1/2 weeks to 2 months to live. We are praying for mercy and for a miracle and as she and her family are not church goers (neither is Rob’s other sister, or his brother) this is a particularly difficul time. We know it is not the end and we pray that she see this as well in her coming days, that the Lord reveals himself to her and hers. Also prayers for my mother-in-law Bobbie who is a saint, she is so good and such a Christian woman. She is struggling mightily to maintain composure and serenity and never once has questioned God’s plan. We all should be like her. Please keep them all in your prayers….thank you!Much love, Linda
