I am Giving Away a Free Dell Dimension Computer and 17″ Flat Panel in 29 Days

Something just a little bit different for my blog today. Today is November 1st, 29 days away from my birthday, and this year, on my birthday I am going to give away this Dell desktop computer plus 17″ flat panel monitor (and a bunch of extras) for free! You don’t even have to pay the shipping.
It is a free computer, monitor, keyboard, wireless mouse, speakers, and an HP printer, to be given away on November 29th. Yep, that’s right football fans, my birthday is on the same day as the Auburn vs Alabama game this year (if anyone wants to send a pair of UA vs AU tickets my way for my birthday that would be cool too), so this giveaway date should be easy to remember if you are the slightest bit familiar with Alabama football.
Every year when your birthday rolls around someone will always ask you what you want for your birthday, and I always liked to do something different instead of opening presents. I like how Brad Ruggles celebrated his birthday yesterday by asking for his readers to donate to Compassion, a fantastic international children’s charity. I may do the same thing, but I am also giving away this Dell desktop computer.
Details About the Dell Computer
The setup will consist of the following:
- Dell Dimension E510 Desktop Computer
- Windows XP, Service Pack 3
- Microsoft Office 2003 (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and all that)
- It has a 3.00 GHz Intel Processor, 500mb of RAM
- 17″ Flat Panel Monitor
- HP All-in-one Printer, Scanner, Fax PSC 1210v
- Speakers
- Keyboard
- Microsoft Wireless Mouse
- cables, wires, and plugs needed
This does not include any software discs as I can not find them at this point, but everything is up to date and works fine. It is not a brand new computer of course, but it is a good working system for someone who needs a computer.

In order to be eligible to win the contest, you will need to do the following simple steps below. Preferably I would like to find someone or some organization that is in need of a computer but can’t afford to buy one. Anyone can enter, but it would be nice to find a home that is in great need of a computer and I will only ship this computer within the CONUS, I am sure you can understand that.

Somewhere in the post you just need to use the link to this post, here, and then come back here and leave a comment to let us know where to find your blog post. That’s it, but, don’t expect to win by spamming my blog or leaving comment spam, you will need to write a blog post linking back here to be eligible to win.
If you know someone who doesn’t have a blog and is in need of a computer and would like to enter for them, just do a blog post saying so. The blog post can be very simple and short but it would be nice to read what you need the computer for or how it will help, or who you would like to give it to if you win. I would ask that if you win, and you do not need the printer to let me know so I can save a little bit on shipping.

my son is in college and the computer we got crashed on us. so he has to go to the library to use one and go to a neighbors to use. this would really help on his studies in college
I really need not want this computer. I am writing this on my school’s computer and my teachers all expect me to own one. This would increase my desire to go into a computer engineering field. I have read all the edition of Computers for Dummies so when I get a computer I won’t be burden to mine parents. If I win I would be mine first in a luck contest.

I posted on my facebook that you want to give away a new computer. I found out from my daughter who was here at my house with five of her six kids on the computer. I was thinking, If I win this computer and give it to her for Christmas, My grandchildren would squeal and my daughter would do the happy dance and I would become the best bubbe on the planet!

What a wonderful thing you are doing…yes, I do actually need a new computer. I have three kids, a husband and myself; each of which need time on the computer and end up fighting over turns.
My girls (aged 5 and 7) are on the computer for their learning games and such. My son (15) is a sophmore in high-school and needs his time on the computer for reports and other studies that require research and such.
My husband is a working man who needs to keep track of things through email, forum discussions and who knows what else he does…always busy with something.
Myself; well, I’m going to school full time (online) and could use a little space on that computer for me. Sometimes I get close to missing an assignment because I’m fighting over turns with the kids and hubby for time. I have to print out my assignments, go to the library and work on it there.
If I won, I would let you save on shipping…I already have one, but the computer we have is horrible. When we turn it on it goes to the “reboot” section about three or four times before allowing one of us to log in…it has many other problems, but I will not bore you much more. I would just love to know that I’m entered into your giveaway and have a shot of winning!!!! This would clear up so much chaos in my home.

I’m sorry that I don’t have a blog or know someone that does but I’m going to chance this anyway My daughter Angela is a single parent of 3 She has no computor but despartley needs one for the kids to be able to do research and projects for school This would be a life saver for her because now they have to go to out small library to use theres We live in a small farming community and our county only has 1 stop light it is so small so please consider Angela nad her children Terraza, Cisco and Antonia for this computor
