Cindy and i were in college together taking the time to get to know each other and help each and be there. i wish i would have known sooner about her passing i talked to her the day before and after her baptism... told her how proud i was that she was doing it. i have been trying to get in touch with her for awhile knowing something was up but we have gone months with out talking but knew the other knew how we felt and that we were there. Cindy i will miss you. love sam

@jay I am learning more and more about Cindy as time goes by. Funny how that happens once the person is gone. I didn't even realize how long she had worked in the Auburn Athletics department, and I guess you didn't know she was baptized either, but she only had 5 days from her baptism to her death, so she didn't have much time to tell anyone. Thanks for leaving a comment.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about Cindy. She was my next door neighbor and what a wonderful neighbor she was. I'm so happy to know that she was baptized as a Christ follower prior to her death. The timing was clearly God's alone. Cindy was a fabulous neighbor and friend to me and to so many others in this neighbor. She seemed to know everyone which remains a testament to her willingness to reach out and connect with those around her. Thank you again for your post.
